Celebrating 40 Years of 
Fine Art at Perth College

The 2025 exhibition held from 4–6 April, marked a remarkable milestone for Fine Art at Perth College - our 40th Annual Exhibition. Since its inception in 1985, the exhibition has grown into a highly anticipated event on the Perth College Calendar and an enduring showcase of contemporary art, championing creativity, connection, and community.

 

From  paintings and sculpture to glass, ceramics, and fine jewellery, the exhibition continues to reflect the richness and diversity of Australia’s visual arts landscape.

 

Over the past 40 years, Fine Art at Perth College has been instrumental in supporting both emerging and established artists, while while offering students a diverse, professionally curated art experience. Funds raised through art sales have contributed to the growth of the Perth College Art Collection, enhanced students’ artistic journeys, and supported creative initiatives - including the Artist-in-Residence Program for both Junior and Senior School, and specialised art workshops for senior students - all of which help foster a vibrant culture of the arts across the school and within our community.

 

This 40th year has been particularly special, not only because of the milestone but because of the energy and talent that each artist, volunteer, committee member and Pert College Team member has brought to the event. We’ve welcomed returning favourites and exciting new artists, and we’ve seen once again how art has the power to spark conversation, provoke thought, and bring people together.

 

As we reflect on our history, we also look forward to the future - with a renewed vision for the annual exhibition and a growing commitment to showcasing excellence in contemporary art.

 

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the 2025 Fine Art Exhibition. This includes our incredible artists, dedicated committee members, volunteers, the Perth College team, and our enthusiastic visitors. Your support and enthusiasm made this event truly memorable.
