Peta Garnaut

Born in outback South Australia, I studied at Perth Technical College of Art before establishing my career as a graphic and jewellery designer in Perth. In 2004, I began experimenting with mixed media, eventually settling into acrylics. My expressive style incorporates subtle layers of colour, marks, and line, often depicting women in playful, thoughtful, or quizzical modes to provoke interest and inspire enquiry.
