Narelle Higson
Narelle returned to full-time art practice after working in health and children’s television. She uses oil pastels combined with cold wax to create unique textures through layering and scraping back. Inspired by Australian landscapes, Narelle captures the colour, light, and movement of grasses, bushland, and water. A finalist in several juried exhibitions, including the 2022 Perth Royal Art Prize for Landscape, her work is held in private and civic collections in Australia and abroad.
