Jo-Anne Maire

Jo-Anne, a retired university academic with a science background, developed an interest in glass through scientific glassblowing. Her work explores various warm glass processes, including casting, kiln forming, and murrine making. Driven by the challenges of innovation, her evolving and eclectic body of work reflects her creativity. Jo-Anne is currently experimenting with ice casting techniques at her studio in Kalamunda.
