Lyn Franke

Lyn Franke is a multi-award winning artist who is motivated by the Australian landscape, its colours, textures, fragility and inspiration. She creates her art in a multi-faceted approach utilising paints, inks, textiles, and mixed media. This year she was the recipient of the prestigious Cossack Art Award "Painting Pilbara Landscape" prize. Lyn has been challenging herself by applying her skills to newer and larger abstract works which incorporate the use of free machine stitch.
