Jill Yelland

Jill is a Perth College Old Girl from Kindergarten to Year 12, who went on to study Graphic Design in Perth and a Post Grad at the Basel School of Design, Switzerland. Jill's work is inspired by the colours, textures and forms of the Western Australian outback. Each piece tells a story of the place, evoking memories for each viewer. She creates her designs with handmade glass, using both sheet and powdered glass, in a variety of techniques to create the atmosphere, colour palette, texture and forms for each design. Jill's work is collected and sold throughout Australia and much of her work is commissioned by public and private organisations for award prizes.
