Daphne Ling

Daphne Ling was born and raised in Malaysia. She is honoured to be the maker behind items that are treasured and represent her story. Art has always been a massive part of her life. She graduated from Curtin University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Commerce and went on to obtain a Diploma of Visual Arts (Jewellery Design) in 2022. Now she is completely immersed in metalsmithing and enjoys working with metals, natural shapes, bold lines, colours and fabricating shapes. Her pieces are one-off works, meant to standout, uplift and build confidence. She won the main award at the 2022 Jewellery Members’ Biennial Award Exhibition.
