Tony was the Perth College Artist in Residence in February 2020. His works reflect his interest in the nature of time and its effect in shaping natural forms such as rocks. By echoing the weathering process through a range of techniques using paint and other materials such as earth pigments, Tony allows the artwork to speak from the beginning with detail and control coming later; definition responds to suggestion. By stepping back and responding to the effects, he hopes a valuable visual dialogue happens between viewer and the artwork.
