Jane Beech
Jane has been drawing, painting and messing around with colour for most of her life. When she eventually discovered oil painting it instantly became her favourite medium. Colour, light and shadow are her key ingredients and she nearly always paints from life and likes to paint alla prima (wet-on-wet) when she can. She is influenced by many artists – especially Margaret Olley, Edward Hopper and Wayne Thiebaud. Jane thoroughly enjoys painting and hopes to convey some of that enjoyment to her audience.
