Pauline Franklyn

Pauline has been fascinated by textiles, pattern and colour from a young age. The question of why we are attracted to particular colours and how colours identify us is something she is exploring in her work. Pauline uses traditional stitch techniques combined with hand dyed wool yarn to create contemporary textile art works that explore texture, landscape and abstract forms. It is always about the chosen colours and how each colour works alongside another to create a pleasing visual experience.
