Robin Wells

Image-empty-state.png

Robin is a Perth contemporary jeweller with a career spanning more than 25 years. Employing a variety of techniques, paying particular attention to the surface treatment of metal, Robin's work is highly individual. The traditional technique of Keum-Boo is used, where a very fine layer of 24ct gold is painstakingly cut and layered onto the fine silver surface and fused using heat and burnishing tools. Imagery referencing our native plants and wildflowers is embossed on the surface of many of the pieces she creates. This collection features found sea glass and freshwater pearls
