Peta Miller

Image-empty-state.png

Over the years Peta has spent a lot of time in the Kimberley. The paintings which emerge from these trips have changed in style over time as her art journey has evolved. Peta's principle is still the same for every work - capture the essence of a place through memory. What stands out or stays in her mind after a trip is combined with sketches and photos. Her works in this Exhibition reflect a walk by a river on a warm Kimberley evening spotting a dash of red which turned out to a flowering Kimberley Rose and, at the same moment a flock of Black Red Tail Cockatoos took flight in the pink evening sky.
