Kay Gibson

Kay is a painter and printmaker with a passionate interest in the natural environment. Her practice is reflective of her life in Margaret River and while producing her own art, she teaches printmaking, sculpture and drawing at the Margaret River Campus of TAFE. Her current work incorporates soft ground etchings of flora along with painted images of birds she has encountered. Kay has been represented regularly in group exhibitions and competitions including as a finalist in the 41st Alice Prize in 2020 and The Waerhouse Natural History Prize in 2008 and 2010. She is currently represented by the Studio Gallery in Yallingup.
