Jill Yelland

Image-empty-state.png

The inspiration for Jill Yelland's new series of works, both rendered prints and glass works, come from the vast, awe-inspiring Pilbara region of Western Australia. From its incredible size, of more than 500,000sq kilometres, to its isolated and rugged beauty, to the home of WA's iron ore mining industry. Her glass works explore both the natural and the deconstructed landscape, created by mining, the colours, forms, and contours of the landscape and its exploration.
