Robin Wells

Robin uses a method of layered embossing techniques and heavily oxidised metal in her jewellery. The body of her wearable jewellery explores her continued interest in our impact on the natural environment: Dark blackened landscapes affected by fire and foliage imprints of what was there before, like ghosts of the remnants of bushland left behind. These pieces evoke the feeling of a fossilised record, referencing our endangered native plants and the flow-on effect to wildlife.
