Alix Korte

Alix’s work reflects a strong love of line work, colour and dynamic composition drawn from her background as a graphic designer and illustrator. Now, as a professional oil painter living in Western Australia, she draws inspiration from her surroundings to capture the rugged, colourful landscape using oil paint in thin washes with some heavy impasto work over the top. Her favourite subjects include animals (especially working dogs), landscapes and water.
