Narelle is a Perth based artist with a love of scribbling and capturing the light and movement of the ocean and the Western Australian landscape. Her unique approach to creating works involves layers of oil pastels and cold wax medium, the lines within the works acting as a type of embroidery to tie the work together. Narelle has worked in a variety of creative areas including TV presenting and Occupational Therapy, and in mid-2021, transitioned to full time artist and primary carer for her mother. As a result of winning the 9x5 Art Prize in Mandurah, Narelle was offered a solo exhibition at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre which was held in early 2022. Narelle's works are held in private and local government collections throughout Australia, NZ and USA.
